Vermontís Anima Womenís Vocal Ensemble has retired!
Thank you for your appreciation and support these past 5 years.
Our recordings from the 90ís of early music featuring the chants of Hildegard von Bingen are available as CDís and downloads at CDBaby.com:
Before the ensemble reunited for a second run in 2013, Central Vermonters recalled Anima from the 90ís, when the group became locally known for its soulful performances of the chants of Hildegard von Bingen and other early music† Again led by Liz Thompson, the group added new voices and enjoyed the unexpected gift of over 5 more years of reconnecting with the music, each other, and local music lovers.†† Our final performance was a beautiful event on June 1, 2019 celebrating the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Green Mountain Monastery in Greensboro.††† †††
